Welcome to Seneca Dental Clinic
Seneca Dental Clinic has a long history in Seneca. In 1977, Dr. Lance Tempel moved to Seneca to start his dental career by joining Dr. A.E. Vitt. In 1983, Dr. Tempel bought out the dental practice of Dr. George Vlasak. Tragically on September 20, 2001, Dr. Tempel passed away suddenly from a heart attack. The next year, in 2002, Dr. Jason Showman took over the practice. In 2005, Dr. Sarah Henry joined the Dr. Showman and the practice was renamed Seneca Dental Clinic. Dr. Ashley Maley joined the Seneca Dental Clinic in the summer of 2010 to help the practice continue the foundation built over 3 decades ago.
The Seneca Dental Clinic is housed in one of Seneca’s historic buildings on Main Street. On February 1, 1901, Harsh Drug Store was founded by D.B. Harsh. During the 1950’s steel strike, the original building was torn down and the current structure was built. In 2006, Harsh Drug closed and the Seneca Dental Clinic expanded into its current 2400 square foot location.
The Seneca Dental Clinic has 7 dental operatories to deliver dental services; a waiting room with a partitioned children’s play area; and a business office. The newest renovation to the structural and technological aspect of the office is helping to lead Seneca Dental Clinic into the digital age of dentistry.
Seneca Dental Clinic was built on the foundation of trust, small town value and home town service. We offer state of the art dental care and hygiene. Our standards of excellence and medical ethics assure you will receive the very best care for you and your entire family.
